Hospital emergency room

Anyone who comes to the hospital emergency room can receive psychiatric assessment and consultation services upon obtaining a recommendation from the emergency physician.  

Hospitalization   

The psychiatric care units look after people with acute mental illness. Hospitalization aims to:

• Stabilize the person’s clinical condition. 
• Restore their functional abilities.
• Provide the person with a safe treatment environment and the support required to regain their previous state of equilibrium.
• Focus on psychosocial rehabilitation to achieve recovery.
